Probably one of the most asked question by Resident Evil fans is; “Will Resident Evil 7 have Zombies?”. Zombies and grotesque monsters are some of the most iconic enemies in the Resident Evil franchise and the series wouldn’t be where it is today without them.
Now that the final update for Resident Evil 7’s ‘Beginning Hour Demo’ has finally been released. We thought it would be a good idea to answer the question that has been plaguing players minds since the demo was released.
Since the first game came out on the PlayStation in on March 1996, every Resident Evil game has used a 3rd person perspective. The camera always sitting behind your characters as the horror unfold in front of their eyes.
From what we can gather from the current released trailers and Gameplay for Resident Evil 7, for the most part, the game is set in a derelict plantation mansion in the southern US state of Louisiana.
Resident Evil 7 at its core brings the much loved horror franchise back to it’s roots. Bringing with it a disturbing sense of isolation and helplessness.
Over the past year or so Virtual Reality has taken off. With the popularity of head seats such as the HTC vive, Oculus Rift and the PlayStation VR headset. More and more games are considering virtual reality.
As the current videos and trailers have led us to believe, Ethan is more of a Faceless protagonist as Resident Evil 7 has switched from the franchises classic 3rd person view to First Person.
There hasn’t been much information in regards to what items will feature in Resident Evil 7. However from some of the videos that have been released by Capcom suggest that some of the classic Resident Evil items will be making a return.
Back in August 2014, Konami and Hideo Kojima released the PT demo on the PlayStation store. This unannounced demo appeared as a free download on the PlayStation store under the pseudonym "7780s Studio".
