Before we jump straight into Resident Evil 7 storyline we should take a couple of steps back and catch up on the overall Resident Evil plot. All great stories start at the beginning so here is the plot for the first Resident Evil.
In 1998 Raccoon City was subjected to a series of cannibalistic suicides. Raccoon City’s Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S) has been ordered to look into the source of the murders.
S.T.A.R.S Bravo team are sent on a mission to investigate these murders further. Rebecca Chambers a bravo team member teams up with a Billy Coen, a convict on the run from the police. The two of them come across the origins on the T-Virus outbreak and lose contact with S.T.A.R.S HQ.
S.T.A.R.S Alpha team agents Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are sent on a rescue mission to find S.T.A.R.S Bravo team, who had failed to report back from their initial investigatory mission. Jill and Chris are led to a mansion which is teeming with zombies and other indescribable creatures. Both Jill and Chris soon discover the mansion is a front for a top-secret laboratory owned by the Umbrella Corporation, and the creatures are the results of experiments that they have been performing with the Bio-weapon known as the T-Virus.
After enduring the horrors of the mansion and battling all sorts of T-Virus experiments. Jill and Chris narrowly escape with their lives.
