Much like The Stick Of Truth, players will be controlling The New Kid aka Douchbag. The new kid was first introduced in the Stick Of Truth and is a completely customisable protagonist for the game.

As the new kid who’s just arrived in South Park Colorado, The New kid almost instantly finds himself thrown into the Fantasy role playing game the kids of South Park are playing. Before long Cartman gives the new kid the nickname Douchebag and is sent out on a quest to retrieve the Stick Of Truth.

As the game plays out we discover that The New Kid has a dark past and also has the in human ability to control his farts. This power allows him to attack enemies and also navigate through environments with ease, all by the power of his bowels. During the games ending, Douchbag is called upon to stop the threat destroying south park and stop a Nazi zombie virus from spreading across the town and the world.

Story of the new kid In The Fractured But Whole

Directly after the events of The Stick Of Truth, The kids of South Park decide to carry on their town wide game. This time dressing up as Superheros the kids soon leave out Douchebag. It is then up to Douchebag to track down Cartman and see if he can be included in the game. Before long Douchebag is recruited to Coon and Friends and helps in the on going battle between the Super Hero groups ‘The Coon and Friends’ and ‘The Freedom Pals’.

The Fractured But Whole is the first game in the series where players will be able to choose the Gender of The New Kid, which will take the customisation of the character to a new level. It has also been confirmed that in the Fractured But Whole the name ‘Douche bag’ may change as The New Kid’s name may change throughout the course of the game, as Cartman is always trying out new names for him/her, such as Farting Vigilante and other butt or fart related names.
